If you’re looking for a hero who brings the heat—mostly via aggressive snuggling and wiggling—look no further than Luna. At eight years old, she’s a master of the "Golden Goof," greeting every room with a full-body wiggle and a shoe in her mouth, all while tucking her lips under her "teef" to show she’s officially open for friendship applications and pets.  

The Gear: Every hero has their signature equipment. For Luna, it’s her giant plush caterpillar. She is the ultimate logistics manager, carrying it from room to room, using it as a travel pillow, and ensuring it’s present for all major household events and greetings.

The Weakness: Every hero also has their kryptonite. For Luna, it’s the yellow fuzzy sphere of destiny: the tennis ball. Once the ball is in play, the "off" button ceases to exist. She has the stamina of a marathoner and the focus of a laser beam.

The Signature Move: Luna doesn't just get excited; she achieves lunar liftoff. When she sees her favorite people and neighbors—especially the "Eat Real Bread" guy at our local farmers market—she performs a vertical airlift, clearing the ground with all four paws simultaneously. It’s a feat of physics fueled purely by the hope for sourdough crust and jerky treats.

The Night Shift: After a long day of neighborhood PR and ball-chasing, Luna settles in for her most impressive trick: sounding exactly like ET the Extraterrestrial while she sleeps.
