Levi’s life started out tough. He was found in Tijuana behind a dumpster at a mechanic shop, then rescued and brought to Los Angeles. Now, at almost 3 years old, he’s the happiest, most loving, gentle soul we could have asked for.

He was dad’s steady support through the fire academy, especially during the long, stressful days. He’d sit close during study sessions, always there to bring a sense of calm when it was needed most.

While dad is at work, he snuggles close to mom and protects the home. He makes us laugh every single day, whether it’s how he gently mouths his favorite toys or how excited he gets for chew sticks and bones.

He loves everyone he meets, human or dog, and brings that same joy wherever he goes. He’s resilient, loyal, and endlessly affectionate. Everything you’d hope for in a companion, and a perfect reflection of the heart behind the LAFD community.

And yes… he’s pretty adorable too.
