Linus is a loving Pitsky who we adopted from the Pasadena Humane Society, where he came in with his mom as part of a litter of 11. From the moment we met him, sniffing our fingers and playfully nibbling at us through the bars, we knew he was the one.

He has a beautiful, shiny black coat and striking heterochromia eyes, but what really makes Linus special is his personality. He’s full of life, loves being out and about (especially car rides), and truly enjoys being around people. He thrives on connection, both with humans and other dogs, and has a way of making people feel love and happiness just by being around him.

At just 11 months old, Linus is still a puppy and learning every day. He loves socializing, being active, and spending time with others, whether it’s with his family or playing alongside other dogs.

Linus loves being with his family and naturally stays close to us, always wanting to be part of whatever we’re doing. He brings a sense of comfort just by being there, and you can feel how much he genuinely appreciates the people around him.

He’s growing up in a home rooted in service, his dad, Steven, is an EMT currently training to become a firefighter, and we even live right next to a fire station. Linus has already made a visit and even tried to get himself a job there… we’re still waiting to hear back.

As he continues to grow, we hope he can support first responders in his own way, bringing comfort, positivity, and presence to those who give so much to our communities.

Linus may not wear the uniform, but he has the heart of a hero.
