Jax should win because he’s more than just an adorable dog, he has a truly special soul. He was given a second chance to live. He was just a puppy when he was found with his siblings drowning in the street gutters in Bakersfield. Now he brings happiness everywhere he goes, and people are naturally drawn to him the moment they see him. Everywhere we go, people stop to ask about his breed and can’t help but call him a handsome boy. But what truly makes Jax special is his intuition. He can sense when someone isn’t feeling well or is having a hard day, and he naturally comforts them with his calm, loving presence. He’s loyal, affectionate, gentle, and has a way of making people feel safe and loved. He himself became a rescuer. He rescued three baby squirrels from dying on different occasions. To us, he’s not just a dog , he’s family, a best friend, and a little healer with four paws.
