Pet's Bio or Adoption Story
When I moved to Edmonton, I was all alone and decided to adopt a cat to keep me company. I contacted a local rescue and enquired about cats for adoption, and they asked if I was seeking any particular color or breed etc. of a cat. My response was simple. Whoever needed a home the most. They brought her by a couple weeks later as she was a cat who was unable to live with the other cats in the rescue and had to be separated and couldn't be in a home with kids, other pets etc. With it just being myself, it was a puuur fect fit - and it was truly love at first meow. She was 1/2 of the inspiration that pushed me to become a pet and then animal rescue photographer to help other great pets in need like she once was. A little way to help and to say thank you to those who help. We had a wild, amazing, beautiful and crazy 8 years together that I couldn't imagine getting through without her by my side. Sadly last month at age 15, she passed away, but I know she'll always be by my side watching over me from the rainbow bridge, inspiring and encouraging me to keep helping other rescue animals in need like her.
