Submissions will begin on Thursday, October 15 and be accepted up until Sunday 11/1/2020 at 11:59 pm. Voting will begin on October 15 and will run until Sunday, 11/1/2020 at 11:59 pm. Entrants are encouraged to share their donation voting page with family and friends and on their social media channels using the hashtag #HSCHalloween. All donations are tax deductible. 100% of proceeds from this contest go to saving the lives of homeless dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Charlotte. Contest participants can enter their photos in one of 5 categories:
- Funniest
- Best Dynamic Duo
- Scariest
- Most Creative
- Best Kids Costume
Only one entry per person, per category. No duplicate photos in multiple categories. There will be one winner per category
No Photoshop! While props, outfits and staging are adorable and ok, digital enhancements and changes to the photo will result in disqualification. Photos that have been manipulated by the addition, removal or alteration (painting over, cloning or blurring) of anything in the original subject and scene that were photographed will be disqualified.
Open to all ages! Anyone is eligible to submit a photo. Photos of pets with kids is encouraged to help promote HSC’s Humane Education Program.
Submissions must be in the file of JPEG or PNG.
