Meet Em.
What began as a plan to rescue a bonded pair of kittens for our office turned into something so much more. Along the way, we got a front-row seat to the incredible work of animal rescue groups and were lucky enough to be connected with Friends of Feral Felines. ( a non profit volunteer org)
Em and her brother Dee were rescued from a colony behind a shopping center when they were just kittens. Although FFF is a trap, spay/neuter, and release organization, they trusted us and allowed us to adopt Em and Dee—and we’re forever grateful. Em quickly showed she was the strong one, looking out for her brother every step of the way.
In true rescue fashion, Em didn’t just find a home with us—she rescued us too. The joy, and daily “desk-side therapy” she brings has been amazing for our small business. Em is the “glue in our magnet” and she brings us together, and we’re thankful for her every single day. She’s loved, spoiled, and completely adored here at M.D. Plumbing. (along with her brother Dee. ) They are both thriving.
