Welcome to our Calendar Fundraiser! This calendar will mark the FOURTH year of our annual Calendar Photo Contest event. All proceeds from this fundraiser support the shelter so we can continue to save lives in our community.
It's easy to participate! Submit your favorite photo of your pet, then get your family and friends to vote for your pet's picture.
Win a spot in the Calendar! The Top 13 entries will be featured in 1 of 13 pages which include the cover and monthly pages. Plus all photo entries will be included somewhere in the calendar or on collage pages!

Top 13 Entries Featured in 2026 Calendar
The Top 13 entries will be featured in the calendar. The top entry will be on the cover and the others will be on the monthly pages of the calendar.
Submit your favorite pet photos for a chance at 1 of 13 full page features in the 2026 HSIMC Calendar! The photo with the most votes will be printed right on the cover!! This contest is open to anyone. Your pet photo entry does not have to be of a rescue pet.
All photo entries will be included somewhere in the calendar.
Please share your entry and encourage others to vote!
To Enter:
You must submit a photo of your pet(s) and include:
- Name of Pet
- Your Name
- Your City and State
- Share something fun or interesting about your pet for the voters to read. Some ideas would be if the pet is a rescue, how long you have been a family, favorite activity/toy/treat, etc.
- There is a $5 donation to enter a photo.
- Each vote thereafter will be $1. Each $1 donation counts as a vote for that photo, with a $5 minimum.
- The contest runs from 8:00:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 to 11:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
Photo Guidelines:
- Photos of dogs, cats, horses, small mammals, reptiles and birds are accepted
- Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from Humane Society for Inland Mendocino County or live in Mendocino County to be eligible to enter the contest
- Photos may contain more than one pet
- Photos must be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater) and be in landscape (horizontal) format to be considered for a month spread in the calendar
- Photos must only contain domestic pets (no people or wildlife)
- Photos must be full-color, no computer generated, heavily filtered, edited or altered photos
- Photos with professional photographer watermarks will not be eligible to be included in the calendar
- Photos deemed offensive, indecent or obscene will be removed from the contest
- We reserve the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason.
- All photos submitted become the property of Humane Society for Inland Mendocino County
There are 13 spots available to win, one for each month, and the calendar cover.
Humane Society for Inland Mendocino County is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible. All donations are non-refundable.
