Lots of people want puppies or kittens when they are looking to adopt, but senior animals are WHERE IT'S AT!! I was not looking for a cat when I wandered into the Humane Society last summer, but when I met Stockings, I knew we were a purrrfect match. Stockings is 11 years old and was not high on most peoples' adoption list, so he spent a long time in shelters. Now he is living the only child, cushy life getting to do what he does best, SLEEP! I am in graduate school, so I spend a lot of time studying quietly by myself. He is the best companion/study buddy/side kick a girl could ask for!
