About Us

The Humane Society of Pulaski County is Arkansas’s oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter. We have been serving the Central Arkansas area since 1946. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, provide veterinary care, spay/neuter, and find loving homes for Central Arkansas dogs and cats in need. HSPC is a private shelter. We receive no city, state, or local tax dollars and are not affiliated with a national organization. We are funded entirely by our generous donors who make all that we do possible.
