What is your dog's breed and age?Frenchie 5years
How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?Pebbles, a 5-year-old Frenchie with the attitude of a retired queen and the snore of a grown man, bulldozed into my life like she owned it—because in her mind, she absolutely did. She strutted into Pima Animal Care Center needing urgent medical care, and naturally, she demanded it… because Pebbles doesn’t do “waiting.” I brought her home to recover, and within minutes, it was clear: I wasn’t fostering a dog—I was becoming staff. This dog wears her heart on her sleeve and her expectations on a Post-it note stuck to the fridge. She demands her meals on time, belly rubs on schedule, and full control of the couch. But somewhere between her dramatic sighs and diva energy, Pebbles taught me something profound. She lives with zero hesitation, total joy, and insists on spreading love like it’s her full-time job. She reminds me daily to slow down, savor snacks, and demand snuggles. In short, Pebbles didn’t just heal—she hijacked my heart, my couch, and probably my soul.
