How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
Tugboat was a surprise Christmas gift for our family in 2019. He wasn’t a surprise because of Christmas, but a bandaid to start the healing process of losing our beloved Dachshund, “Barfo”.
On December 19, 2019, Barfo was snatched out of my mom’s arms as she was attacked by a Bobcat. Thankfully, Mom is ok but the heartbreak has taken years and getting Tugboat just a few days later helped dry our tears. Tugboat brought us back to life with his funny, zany, sweet nature. His hobbies include kitchen supervision, desert squirrel preservation(he had a strong bond with a neighborhood Harris Antelope Squirrel named Poppy. He also enjoys story time, day trading, poker and sailing. He is entering this contest to earn money on behalf of all the small pets that have been killed by wildlife. He was advertised as a rehome in Phoenix, rescued from a Puppy Mill.
