How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
Millie, the majestic Great Dane, has truly been the queen of our home. With her gentle, loving nature and giant snuggles, she has brought comfort and joy to everyone she meets. Her booming bark keeps the neighbors on their toes, but to us—and especially the children that come through our care—she is a calming presence and a trusted guardian. As foster parents, we’ve seen firsthand how Millie helps children feel safe and welcomed, offering warmth and a sense of stability during uncertain times. She has an incredible ability to sense when someone needs extra love and never hesitates to lean in close—or even sit on you—just to be near. Her presence is large in every way, from her size to the space she holds in our hearts.

How did your dog become a part of your family?
Millie was adopted when she was 4. She was my first foster through a Great Dane rescue.
