How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
Yukon was found wandering the streets of Tucson. It took him a long time to understand that people wanted to help and love him. Luckily, I have been that person that has been able to love him unconditionally as he has returned that love to me.
While he still only lets others approach him and pet him on his terms, his infectious smile puts a smile and everyone’s faces.
We lost his fur sister last year, and thankfully, he has been such a good support since then they were best friends.
His goofiness makes every day with him a good day. I am so glad that I was a foster failure with him because he has enriched my life beyond words.

How did your dog become a part of your family?
I was supposed to foster him for a weekend, that weekend was in January 2015!
