How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
I had downsized homes and had sold my Sterling Silver. I kept the money, unsure what to do with it. I was without a dog for about 6 months, couldn't stand it, and decided to get a puppy with the money. Thus, the name Sterling. She is way more fun than that boring chest of silverware. I was 80 at the time, so it was a crazy decision. She brings me so much joy and a reason to be outdoors and be more active. All of my friends and family adore her, too. She is still a puppy, so she needs a lot of attention, but she is worth it. This photo shows her jumping over someone who was sitting on the floor.

How did your dog become a part of your family?
I had always had large dogs but knew I needed to 'downsize' so I researched smaller dogs and fell in love with this breed.
