How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
Finnley came into our lives when he was just a year and a half old, and from that moment on, everything changed. Now nine years old, he’s more than just a dog—he’s our child, our companion, and a constant source of laughter and joy. He’s the happiest, laziest boy you’ll ever meet—equally content sprinting through the house in chaotic zoomies or snoozing the day away after stealing every blanket in sight. If there’s a cozy throw nearby, you can bet Finnley’s under it—or has dragged it over to his side of the couch.

He has a lot to say, especially whenever the neighbors dare to open their garage door—how dare they! He’s got a deep love for the finer things in life: long drives, cold pup cups, and he’s an equal-opportunity cheese enthusiast.

A Portuguese Water Dog who hates both water and ovens, Finnley is full of quirks. But he’s so much more than his breed or habits—he’s our little baby, our beloved blanket thief, and truly my heart and soul.



How did your dog become a part of your family?
We adopted him from a friend’s family who felt he’d thrive best as the only dog in a home—and they were right! He fit perfectly!
