Pet’s Quirks
A funny quirk about this boy is how ticklish he is. I have never seen a dog as ticklish as him. He enjoys playing with his sister, going to the dog park, and going on the boat.

Pet’s Story
We adopted Soldier from the Humane Society last May. He was full of fear and was very thin weighing in at 47 lbs. He had a rough first year of life. He developed some pretty significant resource guarding and behavioral issues shortly after we adopted him with our other animals. Instead of returning him to the shelter, we put a lot of time, love, and understanding into his recovery. My heart just broke for him seeing him in constant fear. We worked with two trainers. He still has some scars, but has made so much improvement and about 90% better. Sometimes, he will back step, but we are here to catch him. He is up to 65 lbs with a little more to go. Nothing makes me happier than seeing him smile and being able to enjoy being a dog.
