Pet's Story or Bio
Kylie was my son's faithful companion throughout his fight with cancer. She came from the Humane Society as a 9 month old puppy. Much larger dog than I had in mind! We went from the Humane Society to county shelter to look for a smaller dog since we were in a condo. He insisted on going back to the Humane Society for her but by the time we got back, adoptions was closed for the day. He made me get there 30 minutes before opening the next morning and rushed in to claim her the minute the doors opened. Best decision I've made in a long time was to let him have her. Kylie is a sweetheart with tons of personality. She slept with him every night, and even through the day as his illness progressed. She added so much to his quality of life those last 20 months. His dying wish was that I keep his dog so now she's my buddy.
