Humane Society of Tampa Bay’s 2025 Calendar Contest

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is excited to announce our 9th Annual Pet Photo Calendar Contest!

Is your pet ready for the spotlight? Snap a fabulous photo of your pet and join the contest! Not only will you help raise funds for animals in need, but you could also score some awesome prizes and see your pet star in HSTB's 2025 calendar! Let’s see those camera-ready cuties!

Join the contest with just a $10 entry fee, and each vote for your pet costs only $1. Every dollar you contribute helps homeless pets. Once you enter, spread the word to your family and friends to get their votes in! The contest kicks off at midnight on July 1, 2024, and wraps up at 9:00 PM on August 9th, 2024.

Friendly Reminder: Winners must be able to attend a photo shoot with their pictured pet(s) at AGoldPhoto Pet Photography Studio on 9/11, 9/12 or 9/13 of 2024!

Prizes

Grand Prize (1)

The photo that receives the most votes will be featured on both the cover and in one month of the HSTB 2025 calendar. AGoldPhoto Pet Studio will take the featured photos, but the original photo submitted by the entrant will also be included in the calendar.
A 2-night stay at the newly renovated and pet-friendly Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore.
$500 Columbia Restaurant gift certificate (expires 11/30/2024).

First Prizes (11)

11 first prize winners will have their photo showcased in a random month of the HSTB 2024 calendar. AGoldPhoto Pet Studio will take a new photo of each winner's pet at their studio, and the original photo submitted by the entrant will also be included in the calendar.
Each first prize winner will also receive a $100 Columbia Restaurant gift certificate (expires 11/30/2024).

Second Prizes (60)

60 Second Prize winners will have their entrant photo featured on a blank date space within the calendar.

Third Prizes (70)

70 Third Prize winners will have their entrant photo featured on the 2024 calendar collage page at the end of the 2024 Calendar.

Judge's Choice (1)

Must raise a minimum of $100 to be entered into the Judge's Choice contest
One (1) finalist will be randomly selected as the winner
Winner will be featured on the back cover of the HSTB 2024 Calendar
Winner receives an HSTB Retail Store gift basket including a $75 gift certificate to the HSTB retail store

Rules

For this fundraiser, each photo entry costs $10, and each vote costs $1. You can submit multiple photos, but each requires its own entry fee. Although you can enter several photos of your pet, your pet can only win one calendar page.
The top 12 contestants with the most votes must be able to attend a photoshoot at AGoldPhoto Pet Photography Studio in Tampa, FL, on 9/11, 9/12 or 9/13 of 2024. If a winner cannot attend during the specified times, the contestant with the next highest votes will take their place in the calendar.
The top 12 contestants will also receive a Discovery Call with AGoldPhoto Pet Photography to learn more about them and their personality, discuss the session for the calendar and learn about upgrading to a full Pet Photo Shoot Experience where owners can be included and custom prints and artwork is available for purchase.
There is a limit of 3 pets per entry.
Only photos of pets are allowed; no people can be in the photo. All animals should be shown respectfully and humanely.
We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos.
Entry and voting period is July 1, 2024 12:00AM EST through August 9th, 2024 9:00PM EST.
The grand prize will go to the person whose photo gets the most votes by the end of the voting period.
The winners will be notified in early August of 2024. Prizes will be mailed to the address on file or arrangements will be made for pick up.
The second prize (60) winners will have their photo featured in one of the blank date spaces within the calendar.
The third prize (70) winners will have their entrant photo featured on the 2025 calendar collage page at the end of the 2025 Calendar.
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay reserves the right to remove any pictures for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you and refund your entry fee if desired.
