Humane Society of Tampa Bay’s 2027 Calendar Contest

Does your pet have "Most Photogenic" written all over them? Is your dog destined to be Class Clown? Could your cat be voted Most Likely to Rule the World?

This year's theme is "Class of 2027", so now's their chance to make the yearbook... and the calendar! Submit your favorite photo for a chance to see your pet featured in HSTB's 2027 Calendar while helping homeless animals receive care, shelter, and second chances.

Prizes

Grand Prize (1)

The photo that receives the most votes will be featured on both the cover and in one month of the HSTB 2027 calendar. Adam Goldberg with Stronger Shot Adoption Photos will take the featured photos at HSTB's Hillsborough Campus, but the original photo submitted by the entrant will also be included in the calendar.
Complimentary 2-night stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Convention Center. Includes a standard room, breakfast buffet, evening reception, valet parking, Wi-Fi, and waived Urban Destination Fee. Expires December 31, 2026.
$750 Columbia Restaurant gift certificate (expires 11/30/2026).

First Prizes (11)

11 first prize winners will have their photo showcased in a random month of the HSTB 2027 calendar. Adam Goldberg with Stronger Shot Adoption Photos will take a new photo of each winner's pet at HSTB's Hillsborough Campus, and the original photo submitted by the entrant will also be included in the calendar.
Each first prize winner will also receive a $150 Columbia Restaurant gift certificate (expires 11/30/2026).

Second Prizes (58)

58 Second Prize winners will have their entrant photo featured on a blank date space within the calendar.

Third Prizes (62)

62 Third Prize winners will have their entrant photo featured on the 2027 calendar collage page at the end of the 2027 Calendar.

Judge's Choice (1)

Must raise a minimum of $100 to be entered into the Judge's Choice contest
One (1) finalist will be randomly selected as the winner
Winner will be featured on the back cover of the HSTB 2027 Calendar
Winner receives an HSTB Retail Store gift basket including a $75 gift certificate to the HSTB retail store

Rules

For this fundraiser, each photo entry costs $20, and each vote costs $1. You can submit multiple photos, but each requires its own entry fee. Although you can enter several photos of your pet, your pet can only win one calendar page.
Winners must attend a weekday photo shoot with Adam Goldberg with Stronger Shot Adoption Photos between August 3rd and September 25th. The photo shoot will take place at HSTB's Hillsborough Campus. Winners will also have the opportunity to purchase additional photo items from their session.
There is a limit of 3 pets per entry.
Only photos of pets are allowed; no people can be in the photo. All animals should be shown respectfully and humanely.
We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos.
Entry and voting period begins 12:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 and ends at 9:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, July 31, 2026.
The grand prize will go to the person whose photo gets the most votes by the end of the voting period.
The winners will be notified in early August of 2026. Prizes will be mailed to the address on file or arrangements will be made for pick up.
The second prize (58) winners will have their photo featured in one of the blank date spaces within the calendar.
The third prize (62) winners will have their entrant photo featured on the 2027 calendar collage page at the end of the 2027 Calendar.
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay reserves the right to remove any pictures for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you and refund your entry fee if desired.
