A little about me...
What can I say about my Nigel? A rescue who chose me! Left at the door of an ER with his dead brother. The staff heard a blood curling cry and thought something was hit on the rood. They opened the door...and there he was. Five weeks old and fighting to live! Convulsions, blood transfusions, a beautiful mom to nurse him. What can I say about Nigel? He is my little man. Waits at the door, cuddles all night, brings me gifts (the undead kind) looks for trouble...and pulls my hair out. Literally! I know he KNOWS he is human and grooms me as one of his own. What an honor! However, our time is short. Now 16 with a sarcoma on his spine. Day of surgery his cry couldn't let me do it. I have nicknamed him, affectionately, the "Hunchback of Trinity". No pain and is living like a prince! Lounges in the sun, tuna /chicken at will and meals on the lanai or in bed. Love doesn't even come close to describing my heart... or how it will break. I hope I have given him even half of how he has blessed me. My little love....You know the saying, " We do not save them......they save us?" Nigel...What can I am about my Nigel?
