Pet's Story
Hattie, or “Hattie Bear” as we call her (sometimes Big Bear, sometimes Bear Bear), is our goofy 3-year-old English Mastiff. She may look big and tough, but she’s really just a giant baby. Around people she doesn’t know, she can be a little shy, but with her family she’s the silliest, sweetest girl.

She loves to sit on the couch like a human, chase our chicks just to sniff them (never to hurt them!), and somehow convinced us that Twizzlers should count as dog treats. She even knows to bark when she needs to go outside — polite, but still a little bossy in her own way.

Hattie fills our home with laughter every day. To us, she’s not just a mastiff — she’s our lovable, silly Hattie Bear.
