Let your Pet shine in the 2026 Picture Pawfect Pet Photo Contest!
Calling all pet owners! It's time to choose the best photo of your pet and enter your best friend for a chance to be featured in our 2026 Calendar!
Our Winning 1st Place Pet will be featured as the 2026 Cover Pet, plus they will be given the choice of their featured month in the calendar. 2nd - 12th Place Pets will be highlighted with one of the 12 months in the calendar.
Step 1 - Pick your pet photo
Find that perfect picture of your cat, dog or critter, you know the one - where his nose is smushed, or she has that charming head tilt – yep that one! No humans please, this contest is for furbabies only!

Step 2 – Submit your pet photo
Upload a picture of your pet with a $15 donation (your donation will help other pets in need, already a win/win)! Your pet doesn’t need to be adopted from HSHA, just a pet who loves and supports our work.
Step 3 - Get Votes!
The pets that have the most votes will be featured in our calendar! Share your pet’s page with your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors and on your social accounts – and encourage them all to vote! Each vote is only $1 (minimum of 5 votes). Every vote counts and every vote is a donation to help homeless pets!
Voting ends at 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
💡 PRO TIP: It's a fast race to the finish in the final few days and especially the last few hours, so stay on top of your entry!
After voting ends, the 2026 Picture Pawfect Calendar pets will be contacted to schedule their professional photo shoot! All winners are required to participate in the mandatory photo shoot.

This can be your pet’s birthday, gotcha day, or any special date that you want to see your cutie’s face, or a way to honor a past pet or dedicate a date to someone else.
