Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward (HSHPE) is a local, community-based animal welfare organization serving Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. Our mission is to provide safe refuge, compassionate care, and second chances to animals in need — while strengthening the bond between people and their pets.
Every year, we care for homeless, stray, surrendered, neglected, and abused animals by providing:
- Safe shelter and daily care
- Medical treatment and rehabilitation
- Adoption services and lost-and-found support
- Community programs, education, and outreach
- Assistance for pet owners through initiatives like our Pet Food Bank
HSHPE is a registered charitable organization and relies on the generosity of our community to continue this lifesaving work. Funds raised through this GoGo Photo Contest directly support the animals in our care — helping them heal, grow, and find loving forever homes.
