Join in our “Show us your love!” Photo Contest to help raise funds to enable us to provide veterinary care for pets entering our shelter as well as assist pets belonging to families in need in our community. Vote as many times as you like – each vote is another dollar that supports the care, feeding, and rehoming of pets in need.
Prizes will be awarded to the top vote-getters, so make sure to share with your friends and encourage them to vote! Winners’ photos will be shared on our Facebook page at the end of our contest.

Rules
- The pet’s name, city, and owner’s first name will be displayed with the photo.
- Photos should be of pets only – no people.
- Submissions must be photographs – no added clip art, drawings, etc.
- Photos must be .jpg, .png, or .gif format.
- Your photo may contain more than one pet.
- Only photos of indoor cats are accepted.
- Any image that includes people or content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by the staff of the Humane Society of Atlantic County, will be removed from the contest.
- Photographs must either feature pets owned by the entrant or the entrant must have permission from the pet’s owner to submit their pet’s image.
- We cannot accept Polaroid, poor quality, or any copyrighted or professional photos.
- Pets do not need to have been adopted at the Humane Society of Atlantic County to be eligible.
- Once entered, photos become the property of the Humane Society of Atlantic County to potentially be used for print, internet, and marketing purposes with no additional compensation.
- By providing your e-mail address, you consent to receive communication from the Humane Society of Atlantic County. The Humane Society of Atlantic County reserves the right to end this contest at any time in the event of poor participation. All prizes are provided by the Humane Society of Atlantic County to encourage donations/participation. If the contest ends early, consolation prizes may be considered for the contest leaders at that time. All entry/vote fees are considered donations and are nonrefundable regardless of the outcome/duration of the contest. No goods or services are guaranteed in exchange for entering or voting in this contest.
The Humane Society of Atlantic County was established as an Animal Shelter in 1968. Our mission is to curb pet over-population through our clinic's spay and neuter programs, increase the number of animals adopted into loving homes through our shelter, provide a safe and caring environment for animals that are lost or strayed and to serve as a resource for humane animal education within our community. Our organization strives to improve and protect the lives of companion animals by promoting healthy relationships between pets and people.
Our successful adoption programs give us the ability to open our doors to thousands of animals facing euthanasia due to overcrowding or lack of resources in other shelters, not only locally, but all over the United States. Our Shelter Outreach Program also enables us to offer a greater variety of animals to our adoption clients.
The Humane Society of Atlantic County is a private, non-profit organization that relies on donations from our generous supporters. We are not operated or funded by any national humane groups or governmental agencies and must rely on contributions to bring our services to the community.
