Rules
Welcome to the first annual Humane Society of the Delta – Delta Dog Calendar Contest!
To enter, please submit a $5 donation along with your selected photo.
- The photo should be good quality (no humans photographed, please!)
- The photo does not have to be a HSD dog, however, we would be thrilled to see our alums featured in our calendar.
- If the photo is not high enough quality, we may contact you to send a different one should you win a spot in the calendar.
- The photo should be appropriate. If it depicts any offensive or abusive content, it will be removed and your donation will not be refunded.
Each vote equates to a $1 donation, with a minimum of 5 votes per entry ($5). The key to winning is to SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!!! Send the link to your friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers (just kidding!), and have them vote for your entry.
Donations will help us continue to care for the abused, neglected, and forgotten animals in our area. Your entry saves lives!
Once the contest is completed, we will announce the winners on our Facebook page, so be sure you follow us!

About Us
About our Shelter
The Humane Society of the Delta (HSD) is a 501c3 non-profit, no-kill organization formed in March of 2008 as a result of the compassion of local concerned citizens, who recognized the immediate need to advocate for the humane treatment of animals. We operate solely on donations (tax deductible) from people like you.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote humane treatment of animals, and finding good homes for unwanted, displaced or abandoned dogs and cats. We strive to educate the public about how to be a responsible pet owner which includes spaying and neutering to help control the animal population.
We work to accomplish our mission by sponsoring spay-neuter clinics, conducting transports, attending community events, and collaborating with local officials.
