A little about me...
Kenai traveled up from the Humane Society of the Delta to us, halfway across the country! They took him in as a pup, and 3 1/2 years went by before he had a home to call his own. My sister told me to never get a dog without meeting it first, but it was too late - as soon as I stumbled across a picture of him, he stole my heart!
No one knows what happened to him before the shelter found him (and probably saved his life). He came to us very scared and timid. Any quick movements had him flinching, even throwing a ball. Now, 5 months later, he has come so far! He smiles and wags his tail, he’s even learning to play with us! He’s discovered he loves chicken and long walks where he can sniff everything in sight. He is the sweetest and goofiest boy!
Kenai is a blessing to us, we are so happy we found him, and so thankful the Humane Society of the Delta saved him.
