A little about me...
Zeus, or as we affectionately call him, Zuzu, was left at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay in heartbreaking condition — a mangy dog with two torn ACLs.

We weren’t even planning to bring a dog home that day. We were still deeply grieving the loss of our previous fur baby and only stopped by the shelter for an event, just to look around. But then Zeus found us. With his gentle spirit and the way he quietly settled himself on our feet, he won our hearts in an instant.

After the surgeries he desperately needed and a proper diet, Zeus changed right before our eyes. He changed into a lively, playful dog who loves long walks, playing with his dog friends, and—most of all—crawling on top of you, to be as close as possible, soaking in every bit of love and attention. And he has this funny obsession with sweet potatoes.

Zeus is the sweetest soul — a reminder that love is patient, gentle, and sometimes comes from the most unexpected places. Through him, we found the strength to open our hearts again after loss. He showed us that love doesn’t look just one way — it comes in all shapes, sizes, and forms. And for that, we are forever grateful.
