A little about me...
Meeko has been my best friend for the past 10 years and I wouldn't have it any other way. Adopted from PetFinder by a college girl in Buffalo, New York, he grew (not much, because he's a Chihuahua), but to just the right size. Eventually, he called Rochester, New York home, but traveled all over the state and had lots of great adventures. From hiking the Adirondacks to kayaking the Finger Lakes, Meeko was a real nature boy. Eventually, he became a city boy in Chicago - enjoyed long walks on the riverside, the views from the high rise, and the occasional hot dog (the Chicago way - no ketchup). With some more time back in New York, we eventually packed our bags and all our toys and treats and made the trek down to the Sunshine State and it's been nothing but smiles and endless walks since. Ever since moving to Tampa, Meeko has enjoyed all the city and the rest of the state has to offer. He particularly enjoys the ducks that stand their ground, lizards he thinks are there to play, and the endless love and pets he's received from all of the friendly people we've come across. We recently celebrated his 10th birthday and had a blast. His dad cooked him a perfect steak and he enjoyed all of the gifts, treats, and belly rubs from all his human companions. We are looking to explore beyond Western Florida and have checked out Pensacola, Naples, Daytona, and Orlando. We are planning a trip to Miami and Key West soon, too! Your dog's world is only as big as you make it and trust me, Meeko may be small, but his appetite for adventure might be greater than his appetite for chicken.
