Maggie was at the HSTB so long she had become completely anti-social. Since she was older (4 years at the time) and bigger (50+ pounds) than most dogs, her adoption prospects were few.

The end of 2008 was colder than normal. So when I heard about Maggie's plight, I decided to foster her through the holidays in hopes that she could find her furever home once socialized.

That was eight years ago. She hasn't left my side since.
