Creating these portraits has been an incredible experience, and we’re so proud to launch our first-ever Iconic Dog Magazine. Thanks to the amazing dog families who participated, we're giving back to local animal charities.
You can vote for your favourite portrait for just $1, with a minimum purchase of $5. After the contest ends, net proceeds will be donated directly to animal charities in each city.

Iconic Dog Magazine Cover Contest — Terms & Rules
Welcome to Hudson Wren’s Iconic Dog Magazine Cover Contest!
We’ve selected portraits to be featured in the inaugural edition of Iconic Dog Magazine — now it’s your turn to help decide who earns the cover and top features, all while supporting local animal charities in each Hudson Wren city: Victoria, Vancouver, Kelowna, and Montreal.
Net proceeds from the contest will be donated directly to local animal charities in each city.

Voting will be hosted through the GoGo Photo Contest platform
Votes are $1 each, with a $5 minimum per transaction
Friends, family & fans can vote as often as they like
Voting Period: 12:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 to 11:59:59 AM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, May 28, 2025
All donations during the Voting Period are non-refundable
Voting transactions are securely processed
Donations are not tax-deductible, as this is a third-party fundraiser
No purchase necessary to participate
Hudson Wren Portraits reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of tampering or unfair conduct

Your portrait will appear on your city's cover of the Iconic Dog Magazine.
🥈 2nd–5th Place
Receive a guaranteed full-page feature in the magazine.
📌 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
Hudson Wren Portraits reserves the right to:
Adjust the layout as needed to accommodate the winners
Extend the contest by 1 hour in the event of a tie
Select winners at their discretion if ties persist
Make final decisions to ensure fairness and contest integrity
📣 Winner Notification
Winners will be announced during the last week of May 2025 and contacted by phone, email, and/or text.
Failure to respond within 3 days may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.
Additional Terms
By participating, entrants agree to the following:
Winners grant Hudson Wren Portraits the right to use their name, likeness, story, and pet’s portrait in promotional content without additional compensation.
Participants grant Hudson Wren Portraits a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, nonexclusive license to use, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute their portrait and associated materials in any format for lawful marketing and promotional purposes.
Portraits and personal information will never be sold to third parties.

Limitation of Liability
Hudson Wren Portraits is not responsible for injuries during sessions or contest participation.
Not liable for issues with the voting platform, including delays, errors, or failed transactions. Voters are responsible for ensuring that votes are processed and confirmed.
Not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond control (e.g., technical issues, hacking, pandemics, etc.).
Hudson Wren reserves the right to modify, delay, or cancel the magazine's publication for editorial or operational reasons.
Legal Conditions
By entering the contest, all participants agree to:
Release and hold harmless Hudson Wren Portraits, its affiliates, employees, and contractors from any claims related to participation.
Limit claims, if any, to the amount paid in entry or voting fees.
Resolve legal disputes individually (no class actions), in a court in Victoria, BC, governed by the laws of British Columbia.
