Animal’s Story
Callie was taken in by a rescue as a puppy in 2016 after being advertised as an English Cream Golden Retriever. After we adopted her from her litter of fellow "polar bear cubs", she started to gain 10lbs per month and quickly became a 130lb, purebred Great Pyrenees. Surprise! We've learned so much about this wonderful breed over the years and knew from the start that we wouldn't trade who she is for the world. Callie moseys and bounces through the world at her own pace, collecting all the love she can along the way. She thinks everyone is her friend - and she's right! She loves the snow, cheek rubs, and jerky treats, and her favorite daily activities include watching TV, mothering her younger doggy sibling Winnie, and talking or pawing at us for attention. Callie is the gentlest and sweetest giant around, paws down!
