Animal’s Story
Chia was adopted from my local shelter in 2024 a few months after I lost my soul dog to CHF.
Chia was not doing well in the shelter (as expected) but I knew something had to be done. I was not sure if I was ready for another dog but something was telling me I had to bring her home.
I was scheduled to have surgery on my arm the week I was picking her up. Surgery was a success and 2 days later, she was with me.
I like to say we healed together. I saved her and I hope she knows that she saved me from so much more.
