Animal’s Story
Harley was discovered with her mom and siblings, barely surviving beneath a trailer in Bakersfield. After being adopted and moved to SF, she struggled to adjust to city life and was returned soon after. We later adopted her through the rescue I had previously volunteered with.
Though Harley is naturally shy and fearful, she has made incredible progress thanks to patience, unconditional love, and supportive training resources from Joybound. Once a puppy who was afraid of kisses and cuddles, she now offers sweet (albeit selective) kisses and happily snuggles, especially if her humans are holding a bowl of popcorn!
At home, she’s the happiest pup, and we’re so grateful to give her a life that truly fits her needs.
