Animal’s Story
B.K. stands for Backyard Kitty. We met BK about 4 years ago when he started coming around our backyard. We learned he went to several houses in the neighborhood who fed him and took care of him, He eventually became comfortable with us, came into our house and stayed the night on extremely cold or hot nights. Our 3 indoor cats became friendly with him and would look out for him through the back window. Eventually, he came into our house daily and became part of our family. We no longer have 3 cats, we have 4. Unfortunately, BK fell ill a few days ago and he passed while the vet was examining him. Entering him into this contest is my family’s way of honoring B.K. and memorializing him.
