Entering a Photo:
Photos of cats and kittens are accepted. Your cat did not have to be adopted from Joyful Pets to be eligible for this contest. Registration fee is $10 for one photo. More than one pet is allowed in each photo, but at least one must be a cat. High resolution photos should be of pet(s) only—no humans, please.
Photos must be at least 300 dpi, and at least 1 MB in size- 3650 pixels x 2740 pixels preferable for printing purposes. Please, no filtered/Photo shopped or altered images. All photos of cats must depict a cat in an indoor setting.
Participants may only submit photos which they have the rights to reproduce. Entries must be received by 5:00:00 p.m. EST on October 1, 2019.
Event Coordinator reserves the right to request a different photo if the above criteria are not met.
Voting:
Each vote costs $1, and there is no limit to the number of votes one may cast. You must cast a minimum of 5 votes at a time for a minimum charge of $5. You may vote for your photo. Online voting begins as soon as the photo is registered and ends at 5:00:00 p.m. EST on October 1, 2019. The ending time for the online voting portion will be solely determined by the host website's server. Keep in mind your clock may differ from the clock that determines the ending time.
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded based on the fundraising total. Grand prize will be awarded to the participant who places first. First prize will be awarded to participants placing 2-12. Second prize will be awarded to four participants selected at random. Winners will be notified by email on or before October 31, 2019.
All winners will also receive a copy of the 2020 Cat Love Calendar.
