Kane’s Kalendar

Kane’s Krusade is excited to announce the first Kane’s Kalendar celebrating our pet families! Proceeds from the sale of the calendar and contest voting will help Kane’s Krusade continue to keep loved dogs with their furever families. Our programs are supported by donations and fundraising events. Kane’s Krusade is an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) charity. Our Tax ID is 45-4918203.

Here's how it works:

Kane’s pet families submit their favorite photo of their dog (can include their hooman, too!)
The public votes on the entries with the top 12 vote getters winning a grand prize
A voter is randomly selected to win a prize – see below!

We encourage our Kane’s pet families to submit your favorite photo of your Kane’s dog and then ask your family and friends to vote for them; EARLY and OFTEN.

Donations for votes will provide support for our C.A.R.E. Kit program, Vet Fund and Pet Family Housing Initiative advocating for unhoused, disabled veteran and domestic violence survivor pet families.

Prizes

The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 12 entrants receiving the most votes.

The top 12 vote getters will be professionally photographed with their dog by Heartsake Photography. Winners will receive one complimentary photo session and be featured in one monthly calendar slot.

In addition, one lucky VOTER will be randomly selected to receive a professionally photographed session of their dog by Heartsake Photography.

Rules

Kontest Rules:

This is a contest for Kane’s Krusade pet families. Only the following can participate: o Current Kane’s Krusade pet families enrolled in the C.A.R.E. Kit program (food delivery)
- Current/Previous Pet Family Housing Initiative recipients o Pet Families who are currently or previously receiving Kane’s Krusade Vet Fund assistance
ENTRIES for the Kane’s Kalendar will start at 6:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, April 1, 2024 and end at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, April 15, 2024. Entries can be made at any time during this period but no later than April 12^th to be eligible for voting.
VOTING starts at 6:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. All votes must be submitted by the deadlines listed to be included in the final vote count.
PHOTO WINNERS: There will be 12 photo winners. The winners will be determined by the twelve entrants with the most votes. Each winner will receive a mini photo session with Heartsake Photography in May of 2024. One photo will be chosen from that session to be featured as one of the month’s in the Kane’s Kalendar.
VOTING WINNER: There will be one winner randomly selected from all voters on May 1^st. The winner receives one complimentary pet photo session with Heartsake Photography.
Once photos are entered, you grant Kane’s Krusade the right to use them at its discretion for print and marketing purposes.

Entries:

Entries can only be made online and must be received by 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, April 15, 2024.
There is no cost to enter.
The Kane’s Kalendar celebrates pet families so people are allowed in photos. If you have more than one dog in the pet family, please include all dogs in one photo if possible.
All photos must be uploaded; printed photos will not be accepted. Entrant must be the copyright owner of the image to enter it.
The Submissions Period starts at 6:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, April 1, 2024 and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, April 15, 2024.
Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by Kane’s Krusade in its sole discretion, will be removed from the kontest. Kane’s Krusade has the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason.
Posting more than one photo of your pet does not increase the chances of winning.
Winners will be determined by the twelve entries receiving the most votes (donations).
The same pet/pet family can only win once.
We cannot accept photos with digital overlays, photo stickers, doodles or any digital effects.
Photos that do not follow these rules are ineligible to win.

Voting:

Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery and open to voting by the public. To vote online, click on the Participate tab above.
There is no limit to the number of votes one may cast for the duration of the contest. You can place all votes on one entry or divide them among multiple entries.
All donations from voting are non-refundable.
Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Online contest payments are through a secure site.
Contest votes are tax-deductible. The email acknowledgment of your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
You may vote for your own photo.
All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GoGo Photo Contests, whose decisions are final and binding.
Online voting begins at 6:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

Fine Print:

By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all rights to your entry materials.
