Contest begins 12:00 AM (Central Time) on Sunday, September 7, 2025 and runs through 10:00 PM (Central Time) on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
- Voting and entry is open to EVERYONE, not just adopters of KARE. Your entry does NOT have to be a rescue animal. We love all cats & dogs and welcome all entries.
- Dog and/or cat photos only, no people please.
- No illustrations or artwork please.
- It is FREE to submit a photo!
- To enter the contest, you will submit a photo, provide your pets name, your name, address, and a couple sentences about your pet. This will help you obtain votes and may be published in the calendar if you win.
- Votes are $1 each. Each dollar donated equals an equivalent number of votes. A minimum donation of $5 is required. You can use your votes to vote on one photo entry, or spread them across your favorite photos.
- If you submit a photo to the contest, you can email links to your family and friends to encourage voting for your photo. On your pet's public page, there is a "share" button that allows you to share your entry.
- Please note, upon winning if your photo is too low resolution for the calendar we will ask you for an updated photo.
- Contest votes are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
- We plan for the 2026 KARE calendar to be available for distribution by Mid - December of 2025. Calendar pre-sales begin during the event. More information regarding ordering calendars will be posted on our social media.
- Contest donations are processed by a secure (SSL, PCI-Compliant) payment processor. You can donate using all major credit cards and Visa and MasterCard debit cards.
- Registration information shared by participants when creating an account to submit a photo entry will be kept strictly confidential.
- The selection process with be determined by electronic tabulations under the supervision of GoGo photo contest.
- All entries and photographs may be used by KARE at their discretion for any and all purposes. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual or company, you are responsible for obtaining permission from the owner.
- By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless KARE and the contest Sponsors and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
