Is YOUR dog the Coolest Dog in Charlotte? Submit your photo to find out!
It's easy!
Submit a photo of your dog. Provide a few short sentences why your dog is the coolest of the cool. Photos should be digital and sharp enough to look good on the internet.
No photos of people, just your dog or dogs. Photos should be in focus to show off your amazing pooch.
There is a $10 fee to post your dog, but you automatically receive 10 votes when you enter your dog! If you have multiple dogs, you will need to take separate photos of each and post them separately. The $10 posting fee applies to each dog you enter.
Dog owners are encouraged to have their friends, relatives, and co-workers go to the contest website and vote for their dog.
Votes cost $1.00 per vote with no maximum on how many votes a person can buy. For example, you can give 100 votes to your favorite dog by donating $100 in a single transaction via the website and come back to the site as many times as you want and donate votes as often as you'd like.
Dog owners themselves will be able to buy as many votes as they'd like too.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will be awarded by the Kiwanis Club of Charlotte to non-profit organizations in Metrolina for programs that help to improve literacy rates throughout Metrolina. The ability to read is a key factor in determining the success of children as they grow up and the Charlotte Kiwanis strives to make sure all children are given the opportunity to read and become successful.

Prizes will be awarded to the
Top 10 Dogs that receive the most votes.
Top Dog -- First Place:
The dog with the most votes will be crowned the "Coolest Dog in Charlotte" for 2023.
The winning dog will be prominently featured on the
front label of a special beer brewed by Pilot Brewing. (That is really cool!) The dog owner will have the opportunity to help customize the beer and name it (subject to approval).
The winning dog will be professionally photographed and featured on WBT radio, Kiwanis and other partner websites.
The top dog winner may be asked to attend promotional events and be available for interviews by the news media.
Second Place:
The dog with the second highest number of votes will be deemed the "Second Coolest Dog in Charlotte" for 2023.
The second place dog will be featured on the
back label of the special brew.
The second place dog will be professionally photographed and featured on WBT Radio, Kiwanis and other partner websites.
In the event that the first place dog is unable or unwilling to fulfill all of the roles and responsibilities of being the Coolest Dog in Charlotte, the second place dog will assume that title and receive all of the benefits described above.
Third Place:
The dog with the third highest number of votes will be deemed the "Third Coolest Dog in Charlotte" for 2023.
The third place dog will be professionally photographed and featured on WBT Radio, Kiwanis, and other partner websites.
The third place dog will be featured on the
back label of the special brew.
Fourth through Tenth Place:
The dogs with the fourth through tenth highest number of votes will be deemed "cool dogs" and will be featured on the
back label of the special brew in a smaller photo of the one that was submitted to the contest.
