My pet is the coolest because...
Dakota has never met an activity he didn’t think he should supervise. Whether it’s walking for miles on the Rail Trail and through the Village, planting flowers, chicken wrangling, pool parties with my nieces, traveling cross country, or simply watering the garden, he’s convinced every adventure is better if he tags along (and he’s right!).
Somehow he’s gentle enough to lie nose-to-beak with baby Silkies, patient enough to let my nieces decorate him with bows and fur chalk (yes that’s a thing!), chill enough to sleep at my feet on cross country flights, smart enough to remember every shop on Main Street that has ever given him a treat, and gentle enough to help herd chickens without ever hurting a feather. He never asks where we’re going or what the plan is—my best little bud is just always ready for action and happy to be there.
