Lancaster County's gardens are something special
Show off the beauty of your Lancaster County garden by entering your own photo. Photo entry period is June 15 to 30, 2026. Encourage your friends and family to vote for your photo during three rounds of voting from July 2 to July 21. This photo contest benefits Lancaster Conservancy. Information on prizes for the winner is here.
Three rounds of voting determine the winning garden. Vote totals will be zeroed out after each round to ensure a level playing field at the start of each round. You can vote for free once each day from Thursday through Sunday during each voting round. Free votes are manually added to the leaderboard by 7:00PM the following Monday. You can buy votes for only $1 per vote on any day of each voting round. Paid votes will be updated on the leaderboard immediately.
After the three rounds of voting, the top garden (using votes from final round) will be featured in a beautiful article and photo spread in the fall issue of LNP's Balance magazine. This garden will also be featured in an online video tour on LancasterOnline.com - LNP will send a professional photographer and videographer to the winning garden to take the photos and video.

Remember to frequently check your garden's standing toward the end of each voting round; voting gets very brisk at the ends of the rounds.

- Free voting closes Sunday, 7/5 at 7:00PM.
- Free votes added to the leaderboard Monday, 7/6, by 7:00PM.
- Paid voting closes: Tuesday, 7/7 at 7:00PM.
- Round 2 voting - the top 50% of photos from Round 1 will move to Round 2 and all vote tallies will be re-set to zero.
- Free and paid voting opens: Thursday, 7/9.
- Free voting closes: Sunday, 7/12 at 7:00PM.
- Free votes added to the leaderboard Monday, 7/13, by 7:00PM.
- Paid voting closes: Tuesday, 7/14 at 7:00PM.
- Round 3 voting - the top 50% of photos from Round 2 will move to Round 3 and all vote tallies will be re-set to zero.
- Free and paid voting opens: Thursday, 7/16.
- Free voting closes: Sunday, 7/19 at 7:00PM.
- Free votes added to the leaderboard Monday, 7/20, by 7:00PM
- Paid voting closes: Tuesday, 7/21 at 7:00PM.
- Announce winner: Wednesday, 7/22, based on the top vote tallies for the final round.
