Dog's Story
Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue took sweet Arlo in and nursed him back to health, which was no small task after years of mistreatment and life-threatening injuries. When we stumbled upon a Facebook post detailing his heartbreaking story trying to find him a forever home, we knew we had to take him in and give him the love, affection, and soft beds he deserved. In a short time, we have watched Arlo go from refusing food and not being able to stand on his hind legs to eating pounds of chicken and trotting down the beach. His turnaround is nothing short of a miracle, and despite all of the pain and adversity he had endured he somehow manages to be the sweetest, gentlest boy. We feel so lucky to have him!
