About ARF-LA

Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana (ARF-LA) is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to improving the lives and welfare of homeless dogs.
For the past four years, Le Triomphe has partnered with this foundation to raise funds by means of our Pet Photo Contest. We would love for our members to come together and make this year's contest better than ever by participating and voting! August 1st will kick off our Pet Photo Contest, and we hope that you choose to participate. Look out for details in our newsletter. In October, we will host a Yappy Hour event on the back lawn of the Clubhouse and invite members and their "fur babies" to join us for an evening of games, contests, hors d'oeuvres, and drinks. Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana's (ARF-LA) mission is to provide care, shelter and medical attention for stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs, and then place them in loving homes through their adoption process.
All animals are fully vetted and temperament tested before adoption. ARF-LA has one main ARFanage kennel and a network of foster homes where the pets are housed until they find their new homes.
ARF-LA's funding is derived through fundraisers, donations, and adoption fees. It is a costly and labor-intensive endeavor, but the emotional satisfaction of seeing life change not only for a dog, but also for a family, a widow, a widower, or a single parent with children is VERY rewarding.
They provide every ARFan:
- Vaccinations
- De-worming
- Spaying/Neutering
- Microchip
- Heartworm testing and treatment
- Surgeries: eye, orthopedic, nasal reconstruction, femoral head ostectomy
- Love, Care Safekeeping
