Everything we do at Lifesaving Society Manitoba is geared towards injury and drowning prevention. We are concerned for the safety of friends, family and community. Drowning is preventable and one of the best layers of protection is wearing a lifejacket or personal floatation device. We thought a great way to encourage the use of lifejackets would be to feature those who contribute so unselfishly to enrich our lives, our pets. This calendar shows how much we care by keeping them safe and surrounding them with love. No doubt, they wish the same for us, which is why we need to wear our lifejackets, too.

We save lives and prevent water-related injury through our training programs, Water Smart® public education, aquatic safety management services, life-saving sport and water incident research. Lifesaving Society Manitoba was founded in 1911. We train all of Manitoba's National Lifeguards.
