Adoption/Pet Story
My now husband & I just happened to be looking around at the lighthouse animal shelter website one day. We weren’t set on adopting but once we saw the absolute goofiest girl on their site, Fiona, we had to meet her! She had the biggest zoomies and we loved her at first sight. We didn’t expect to get approved so soon so we were away with work trips for that week. Every day I made sure to visit her & bond until I could grab her. By the end of the week we knew she belonged with us (saying goodbye every day was the absolute worst and I never wanted to do that again). Since then she has become best friends with her kitty brother, Oliver, after lots of work with them and I can now say our family is complete! So much love for lighthouse animal shelter!!
