About Dachshund Haus Rescue
Dachshund Haus is a foster based rescue serving dachshunds in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Indiana.
Their mission is to be a safe place to surrender a dachshund and a great place to adopt one!
Dachshund Haus takes in the paralyzed, the biters, the seniors, hospice, and pregnant dachshunds and utilize all of their resources to give the best chance for a new life. They have several programs, including Chariots of Fire for wheelchairs, Seniors 4 Seniors connecting senior dachshunds with senior humans, and the Doxie Boutique where you can purchase donated items to help fund the rescue efforts.
Dachshund Haus Rescue has no paid employees. Everything is run by its founder Jennifer Drake, board of directors, and volunteers. Every dollar raised goes directly toward the dogs. All contributions are fully tax-deductible.
