Showcase Your Hawaiian Humane Society Alumni on Our Outreach Van!
Have you adopted a pet from the Hawaiian Humane Society? This is your chance to see your beloved Hawaiian Humane alumni featured on our outreach van while supporting life-saving care all across Oสปahu. All Hawaiian Humane alumni, past and present, are eligible to enter the contest.
Pets who have passed may also be entered in memoriam with their own photo.
Throughout the month of February, every entry and vote will support the Hawaiian Humane Society and help power our outreach van’s mobile clinic. Your donations fund veterinary care, medical supplies, outreach services, and essential resources that allow our team to bring low-cost care and support to pets and families across the island. This life-saving work is made possible through the generous support of PetSmart Charities, whose grant funded our outreach van to reduce barriers to veterinary care and expand access for pets and families across Oสปahu.
Why Your Entry Matters
The Hawaiian Humane Society’s Pet Kokua Outreach program plays a vital role in preventing owner surrender, animal cruelty, neglect, and pet overpopulation. Our goal is to keep pets with the people who love them and to improve the quality of life for animals across the island.
Your support helps us bring essential services directly to communities, keep families together, and care for pets who may not otherwise have access to veterinary help. These services include spay and neuter transport, microchipping, vaccines, a pet food bank, and other vital community support. Your donations also strengthen all of Hawaiian Humane’s programs and animal care efforts, helping us continue to serve and protect animals like the beloved alumni participating in this contest.
How it Works
There are three categories you can enter: Dog, Cat, and Other Animal.
The first-place winner in each category will have their pet’s photo featured on the outreach van, and winners and their pets will be invited to a special van blessing celebration.
To participate:
- Submit your pet’s photo (Optional: Add in a short bio for your HHS alumni!)
- Cast your vote
- Let your friends and family know to vote for your Hawaiian Humane alumni!
Each dollar equals one vote, and every vote helps supports the build out of our outreach van that will bring veterinary care to our community.
Your pet could become one of the faces of our mission, and your gift will make a meaningful impact for pets and families island wide.
