Imua is 11 months old and has already been through more than most pups his age. Sweet and resilient, he is gaining confidence and trust each day after having his front leg amputated. He loves his toys and proudly carries them for comfort, usually after tearing every bit of stuffing out. In the backyard, he gets the zoomies and delights in the simple joy of running and playing. When he feels safe and settled, he sleeps upside down on his couch, completely relaxed.

With the support of the Hawaiian Humane Society, Imua found a place where healing is allowed to happen over time. His story is a reminder that finding your balance after loss is possible with friends.
