Echo was brought to the Hawaiian Humane society as an owner surrender. He was a few months old and had a condition called eyelid agenesis, where he was born with very little eyelid space. The lack of eyelid caused his lashes to grow downward and poke into his eye. The shelter was able to provide many procedures even outsourcing his follow up surgery with an ophthalmologist thanks to generous funds by our incredible donors. Echo healed beautifully and today his eyes cause him no issues! So grateful for all the care he received here at Hawaiian Humane!
