Submitting an Entry
For the Lu’s Labs 2020 Calendar Contest, we welcome anyone who wants their lab to star in the Lu’s Labs 2020 Calendar to submit their entry.
The minimum donation for entering a submission is $15 per photo. You may enter as many photos as you desire.
All entries are required to list the name of the pet pictured in the photo.
While we love all dogs and encourage you to submit picture of all breeds, only Labs will be chosen as the 12 winners.
Digital photos must be clear, of good quality and high resolution and submitted via the contest website submission form.
Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery and will be open to voting by the public.
People are not allowed in your photo, though the image may contain another companion pet in addition to the one featured.
The same pet can be entered into the contest multiple times, but votes will not be combined across multiple entries of the same pet. Each photo earns votes separately.
Photos must either feature pets owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the pet's owner to submit their pet's image.
We reserve the right to decline publication of any photography for any reason.
Miscellaneous Info
The winner of the cover will be determined by the highest number of votes. The Lu's Labs board will decide which months the 11 other dogs will appear on.
Lu’s Labs Board Members and their families are excluded from winning, but may participate.
Entries may be submitted from 8/15/2019 at 9:00:00 AM until 9/1/2019 at 8:00:00 PM EDT.
Donations are non-refundable and fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. Lu’s Labs is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
By participating in this contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Lu’s Labs and each of their officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize.The contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
Online Voting
This contest is open for anyone to vote.
Voting by the general public is available for a $1 donation per vote and can be in any whole dollar amount.
We encourage you to email the contest link to family and friends and encourage them to vote.
Persons may submit as many votes for as many photos as they wish.
All votes will be periodically tabulated and displayed on the contest website. There may be a temporary delay in displaying the most recent tabulations.
Voting begins on 8/15/2019 at 9:00:00 AM until 9/1/2019 at 8:00:00 PM EDT*.
