The top 12 pets who receive the most votes will be featured in our 2025 calendar.

1st Place
The 1st place winner will win the coveted cover photo as well being the pet of the month in the calendar.

2nd - 12th Place
The 2nd - 12th place winners will have their pet featured as a pet of the month.

Honorable Mentions
Long Way Home Adoptables will choose a pet that did NOT make the top 12, and feature them as a CENTERFOLD. We will also choose a handful of pets that did NOT win, to feature as smaller images on thank you pages, info pages, etc. These will not be the runner ups in order, but rather, ones LWHA chooses on their own.

Reserve a Day

Supporters may also "reserve" a calendar day for $50, and it includes a free calendar. You may to submit a photo and any caption to fill that special day for you, your pet, or someone you love. Feel free to plug your pet's social media accounts! Reserve-a-Days will remain open until 10/1.

About Us

Long Way Home is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization saving animals regardless of age, health, or species. While LWHA is an all breed rescue, we specialize in small breed seniors, medical cases, and abuse victims. Some may be pets in an over-capacity shelter, some may need serious veterinary care or rehabilitation, and others may just be in a bad situation needing help. Our foster-based rescue runs exclusively on public donations, and 100% of donations are tax deductible.

Calendar Sponsors Needed!

100% of the funds raised from our 2025 Long Way Home calendar contest go directly to our organization, Long Way Home Adoptables in Bryan, Texas. However, we could sure use some help covering the printing and freight expenses! Want to make sure we get even more of the funds? You can help us save more lives AND help your business or social media account get seen all over the world (as a tax deduction, too!).

We have four options:

1) Monthly Runner - There are twelve spots available for business or accounts to be featured as the footer on a calendar month. We sell calendars each year to countries all over the world. It's a great way to get your business or account seen by the perfect people -- animal lovers! One spot is only $250, and you may purchase as many of the 12 spots as you like.

2) Back Cover - This spot will secure the bottom third of the back cover. We sell calendars each year to countries all over the world. It's a great way to get your business or account seen by the perfect people -- animal lovers! The spot is $500, and only one is available.

3) Centerfold - This spot will secure the bottom third of the coveted centerfold spot. We sell calendars each year to countries all over the world. It's a great way to get your business or account seen by the perfect people -- animal lovers! The spot is $750, and only one is available.

4) Anonymous Angel - These are for the TRUE Long Way Home supporters out there. Only Long Way Home will know who sponsored these spots. These sponsorships are $1000 and are for those who do NOT want public recognition. However, you WILL get a private and personal thank you directly from our founder and director, and you may video chat with any adoptable pet in the program if you like!
